This is a silly dynamic programming experiment based on Greg Borenstein’s DynamicProgramming library for Processing. Using OpenCV for face detection, I was able to protect the head and shoulders while scaling with seam carving. I then took the resulting image sequences into After Effects and animated them to Randy Newman’s Short People using Time Remap.
The models were stolen from American Apparel’s website.
