Weave So Well

Description

Weave So Well is a pair of interactive studies create with Unity for the Leap Motion Controller. The interaction and visuals were inspired by the hand motions of weaving magic spells and of moving one’s fingers through rippling water.

This work was first shown publicly at CETI’s Enchanted Technology Show in October of 2022.

Background

These studies were originally prototyped during my time as Technologist in Residence at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in 2020. They were part of a larger exploration of radial symmetry, which was a central theme of the residency.
